• Device/logs: IP address, browser details, timestamps, and basic diagnostics to keep the service reliable.

2. How we use data

• Provide and improve transcription, translation, and storage features.
• Secure accounts, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Send essential service messages (for example, account, security, or job status).
• Optionally send product updates if you opt in; you can opt out anytime.

3. Data sharing

• We do not sell your data.
• Vendors: trusted sub-processors (cloud hosting, email delivery, observability) under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal: we may disclose if required by law or to protect the service, users, or the public.

4. Data retention

• Uploads and generated transcripts are retained only if you save them; otherwise they are kept temporarily for processing.
• Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion.
• Backups and logs are retained for a limited time for security and continuity.

5. Your choices

• Manage defaults and preferences in Settings.
• Download your files and transcripts from your account.
• Request account deletion by contacting support.
• Opt in/out of analytics and communications where offered.

6. Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring). No system is perfect; report issues to us if you spot them.
